A peer advisory board is a group of entrepreneurs from different industries coming together to not only share referrals, but to engage in problem-solving together.
It gives the entrepreneur a similar experience to working with a board to brainstorm ways to solve current organizational problems. The discovery process is facilitated by a coach.
Our groups are small (5 to 10 people) and there is a monthly commitment to the group.
Coaching and mentoring are two different things. A mentor teaches the entrepreneur the knowledge and skills they have gained based on their experiences.
While a business coach focuses on assessing your business to identify the skills and tasks that the entrepreneur needs to accomplish their goals. The business coach holds the entrepreneur accountable!
It's important to know the difference so that you can find the service that you are truly seeking!
